Bride of the Night by Heather Graham

I usually love Heather Graham books, but this one was hard for me to finish. I could not seem to get into either the story line or the characters themselves.
The story is about a female vampire, living in the South during the Civil War who wanted to protect President Lincoln and a member of his security team who is trying to track down threats to President Lincoln. Ms. Graham did a good job with her descriptions of locations and her characters, but this story is one that just didn't "speak" to me.
Hopefully, the next Heather Graham that I pick up will.
